for
I swear half the class ordered a copy about a month ago from scholastic..
.and asked me each and every day " Is it HERE yet?"
So I had to do something..
I have not read any of the books in the series so I searched around ,
and found a few million good lessons floating around on the web..(who knew)
The official site is full of games, author info., news, and all sorts of cool stuff.
Needless to say we had a very "silly" afternoon..

Students will enjoy reading this interview, which will give them a sense of what makes Jeff Kinney tick. Afterward, have them write their reactions to the interview. They could answer questions such as these:
Analyze Greg Heffley and the other characters in his journal using the Character Chart.
Use the Title, Character, Problem graphic organizer to summarize one of Greg's problems and related events.
Start your own journal in the style of Greg Heffley. You may want to illustrate it or decorate it
